Making for quite the entertaining evening, the 2009 MTV Movie Awards were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City on Sunday evening (May 31).

As could be expected, “Twilight” cleaned up during the ceremony, taking home five out of the seven nominations including the top honor, Best Movie.

Among the other winners were “High School Musical 3”, “Yes Man”, “The Dark Knight” and “Baby Mama,” with “High School Musical 3” picking up two trophies for Best Male Performance and Breakthrough Performance Female.

Always the consummate funnyman, Sacha Baron Cohen showed up at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in yet another shocking getup.

The “Borat” comic donned an all-leopard-print ensemble including a pair of briefs, a skintight top, fedora, and furry boots as his alter-ego Bruno.

Once inside, Cohen didn’t waste any time in creating plenty of mayhem, making his entrance via a flying rig and sporting a g-string and wings.

And once he landed in the lap of rapper Eminem things got a bit tense, with the “Real Slim Shady” finally leaving his seat and walking out of the auditorium.

It’s no secret that he was one of the most anticipated guests at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and Robert Pattinson even ended up taking home some hardware.

The “Twilight” stud was very gracious as he accepted his Best Fight award along with costar Cam Gigandet, thanking his fans for their support.

But that was just the beginning - Pattinson also nabbed the golden popcorn for his Breakthrough Performance, Best Movie and Best Kiss for the vampire thriller.

In addition, Robert, along with costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner introduced an exclusive clip from their forthcoming film “New Moon.”

These two are always on the go, so it’s no surprise that Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt made time for this year’s MTV Movie Awards that are taking place tonight in Los Angeles, CA.

As they walked the red carpet, the “House of Wax” babe and her athlete beau were happy to stop and pose for pics, showing off their swanky outfits with Ms Hilton in a peachy short dress and Mr Reinhardt in a pin-triped suit.

In related news, the heiress has been speaking her mind of the MTV show “The Hills,” saying “The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn’t even want to be a part of it.”

And coming to the show’s defense is none other than Ms Stephanie Pratt, who shot back, “Doug’s not even on the show, so I don’t even understand that. And in real life he is friends with those boys, so it’s not fake. I would never call her show dumb, so I think she should apologize.”

Everywhere she goes she makes the boys drool, and Leighton Meester was nothing short of spectacular as she arrived at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

The “Gossip Girl” gal sported a beautiful black cut-out dress teamed with a pair of purple suede high-heeled booties and plenty of designer bling.

Miss Meester joined a who’s who of Hollywood celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, and Kristen Stewart at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

And with sneak peeks of “New Moon,” “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” it’s sure to be an action-packed evening.

The “Charlie’s Angels” chick hammed it up on the red carpet along with fellow actresses Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin.

Cameron was just one of the uber-hotties heating up the arrivals area earlier tonight - stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Sienna Miller, Lauren Conrad, and Kristen Stewart all made appearances as well.

Adding to the night’s appeal, both Eminem and Kings of Leon took the stage for memorable performances, along with sneak peeks of “New Moon,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.”

She’s always up for a swanky shindig, and earlier this evening (May 31) Sienna Miller was spotted turning heads at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

The “Factory Girl” babe wasn’t afraid to show a little skin on the red carpet, sporting a sparkly green backless dress along with a pair of super-high sliver heels.

Once the awards show got rolling, the audience was treated to a teaser of Sienna’s new movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” also starring “Fighting” stud Channing Tatum.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards is sure to be a night to remember, with plenty of hotness thanks to hunks like Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, and Taylor Lautner.

It’s finally here! The 2009 MTV Movie Awards are upon us and joining the mass amount of celebrities on the red carpet is “Twilight” star, Ashley Greene along with her co-star boy toy, Kellan Lutz.

The ceremony will be hosted by Andy Samberg and feature musical performances from Kings of Leon and Eminem. The MTV Generation Award, the ceremony’s highest honor, will be presented to Ben Stiller. Two new categories are set to debut at this year’s show: best song from a movie and best WTF moment, which honors the most jaw-dropping movie moment of the year.

She’s one of the biggest young female stars in Hollywood these days, and earlier tonight (May 31) Kristen Stewart was spotted at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

Fresh from her “New Moon” shoot in Italy, Miss Stewart was more than happy to strike a few poses for the paparazzi outside the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

And the “Twilight” cutie definitely displayed her own flavor of fashion in a funky black and red dress teamed with a pair of black Converse All-Stars.

Tonight’s show is being hosted by Andy Samberg and will include appearances by Kristen’s on-screen cohorts Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

During the course of the evening, viewers will be treated to an exclusive sneak peek of Megan’s upcoming flick “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”
