The for a store reopening party, beauties such as “Gossip Girl” co-stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester turned up in support of designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Joining in on the swanky fashion soiree were newly single “Jumper” actress Rachel Bilson, as well as the always-lovely Claire Danes, model Molly Sims and model/DJ Leigh Lezark.

Rounding out the guest list were “Sex and the City” fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker and model Petra Nemcova along with actresses Diane Kruger, Maggie Grace and Liv Tyler.

With the 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards quickly approaching, the biggest names in music are anxiously awaiting to find out if they’ll be lucky enough to take home a Moonman.

And if Selena Gomez had her way, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” darling would make sure that Justin Bieber doesn’t go home empty-handed.

Of Justin’s nomination for the Best New Artist Moonman, Selena tells MTV, “I think he deserves it! I think he’s worked really hard. I think he works harder than a lot of people I know, so he deserves it.”

With Bieber also set to perform at the Nokia Theatre ceremony - which takes place Sunday night at 9PM ET/PT on MTV - Miss Gomez adds, “I think just the fact that he’s 16 and you’re gonna see him onstage with all these other artists that have been around, like, much longer than he’s been alive, it’s gonna be really cool to see him next to these people that have been idols and icons in the music world.”
